Project: This is an individual assignment. It will be on paper (8 1/2x11 or 11x17). If you have a Glogster account, you may make your poster in Glogster, then print. InDesign is encouraged as your design platform. The assignment: Read "The Seven Deadly Sins of Student Writers." Pick one of the "deadly sins" and make a poster to help students remember not to commit that sin in their writing. The use of humor is encouraged (think a la The Oatmeal, but appropriate for the classroom). Yes, the instructions are deliberately loose. I want you to be creative in helping your classmates become better writers. Due date: Friday, February 4 no later than 1:15 p.m.
WANTED: a staff shirt design. Submit a hard copy of your one or two-color design no later than class time February 4. Show your creativity. Be remembered forever as the designer of the 2010-2011 staff shirt.
